Being Heard as a Nerd: The Workshop
Last year, Being Heard as a Nerd brought inspiration from the keynote stage to our Friday morning attendees. See – Andrea’s Keynote)

This year, we take that conversation into the training room – moving from inspiration to transformation through coaching, practical tools, and real-world application. This is truly not traditional conference training. Rather than lecture-based learning, participants work through real leadership challenges they face right now and leave with practical tools they can apply immediately. Through live coaching circles, leadership frameworks, and hands-on practice labs, participants build the skills required to lead with greater influence. Common challenges include:

  • Communicating effectively with executives and boards
  • Building trust across teams and departments
  • Leading people through conflict and change
  • Moving from technical expert to enterprise leader

This is coaching + teaching + practicing + applying. In one immersive day, attendees move from:

  • Frustrated → Influential
  • Uncertain → Credible
  • Reactive → Empowered …and become the leader they want to be.

Due to the design and delivery of this class, as well as the interactive coaching format, this class size will be small so seating will be limited.

Facilitator Andrea Schwarz is an executive coach, leadership strategist, keynote speaker, and founder of IMUA OLA Coaching House. She spent 20+ years leading global teams at Adidas, Reebok, and Novartis before founding multiple businesses focused on leadership transformation.

Red Lens I: Foundational Physical Security Training
Most site assessments are conducted with a clipboard and a list of controls. NavPoint Alpha’s site assessments are designed by people who spent years bypassing those same controls. Our Red Lens program is a two-day, hands-on training that teaches security professionals how to evaluate the physical security posture of a facility using a structured methodology built by experienced breach practitioners and a purpose-built platform to execute it.

Day 1 builds the assessment framework: nine control categories, maturity scoring, and the attacker’s intuition that separates a checklist walker from someone who sees what’s actually exploitable. Students are introduced to the NavPoint platform and use it throughout the day to score controls, document observations, and conduct remote reconnaissance of the hypothetical target facilities.

Day 2 puts it all to the test: teams deploy to a facility they’ve never set foot in, execute a live assessment using the NavPoint platform to capture findings in real time and produce a professional report and presentation. Students will leave with a methodology, a credential, hands-on experience with a platform built for this exact work, and the ability to look at facility security through a whole new, redder lens.

Certified Cybersecurity Resiliency Practitioner (CCRP Certification)
As cyber threats, cloud dependency, and digital supply-chain risk continue to escalate, organizations must move beyond traditional cybersecurity and business continuity programs toward cyber resilience—the ability to anticipate, withstand, recover from, and adapt to adverse cyber events while continuing to deliver critical business outcomes.

The Certified Cyber Resilience Practitioner (CCRP) course equips professionals with a practical, management-system-driven approach to integrating cybersecurity, operational resilience, and enterprise risk management. Grounded in globally recognized frameworks and standards—including ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 22301, ISO 31000, NIST CSF, and CSA STAR—the course emphasizes governance, secure operations, incident readiness, recovery, and continuous improvement across people, process, and technology.

In this 2-Day class participants will learn how to design, implement, and assess cyber resilience capabilities aligned to business objectives; evaluate cyber risks across internal operations and third-party ecosystems; and operationalize resilience through measurable controls, decision-making structures, and leadership accountability. The course bridges the gap between cybersecurity teams, risk leaders, and business stakeholders, enabling organizations to move from reactive security controls to adaptive, outcome-focused cyber resilience.
